Students Workload in Chemistry Courses
Students have recently provided valuable feedback to the Department of Chemistry on the workload of students in chemistry courses. Teachers and committees within the Department are discussing methods to address the concerns of the students. For the long term, the Department has initiated a thorough Curriculum Review, the conclusions of which might include changes in workload within some courses. In the short term, the Chemistry lecturers and lab instructors in each course will provide students with guidelines on how best a student might allocate their time to each of the educationally purposeful activities in their specific course.
